Venture Study Group (VSG)

The Venture Study Group is a book club that meets every week to discuss the books that are influencing the ideas of our times. Some of the books we have read over the past year are-

  • Thomas Piketty’s Capital in the Twenty-First CenturyVSG_4
  • Peter Thiel’s Zero to One
  • Clayton Christensen’s Innovator’s Dilemma
  • Don Norman’s The Design of Everyday Things
  • Guy Kawasaki’s The Art of the Start
  • Eric von Hippel’s Democratizing Innovation
  • Steve Krug’s Don’t Make Me Think
  • Anthony Williams and Don Tapscott’s Wikinomics

Taking apart ideas discussed in these books, playing devil’s advocate by debating opposing schools of thought, and dwelling upon insightful excerpts make for intellectually nourishing conversations that extend to include the community of entrepreneurs, developers, designers, and students in the NCR at large.
